The goal of Monte Rosa Sport is to build a portfolio of heritage sport apparel brands that can leverage their collective scale to improve performance. We started with the acquisition of Odlo in 2020 and continued in 2022 with the addition of Janus of Norway and Henri-Lloyd to the group.
In the Monte Rosa Sport group, each brand is responsible for its own design and product development, marketing, and sales. This allows each brand to maintain its unique heritage and identity - staying distinctive. On the “back-end”, the group benefits from shared sourcing and manufacturing, logistics, technology investments and financing.
This structure of keeping the brands’ identity while sharing resources within its control, allows the group to achieve a balance of maintaining the distinctiveness of each brand while also reducing risk, and benefiting from scale and shared knowledge.
