Jørgen graduated cum laude from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Finance while he was a captain of the university ski team at the school.

After graduating, Jørgen started in Goldman Sachs within the Leveraged Finance division in the US, before moving to the London office. In London, Jørgen worked in both Equity Capital Markets, with a focus on the Nordics, and then the Industrials M&A team before joining Monte Rosa Capital.
